Special Orders

Many of you have already placed a Special Order with me, but for those of you who haven't, here's how it works.

I'd love to be able to keep all the shades and yarns that Brown Sheep make in stock - but I can't - there's simply too many! Instead I provide a 'Special Order' service, which works just like Avon does...

Special Order yarn is yarn that I currently do not have in stock but is available from Brown Sheep. Every month I announce a date that the Special Orders need to be placed by. Place an order by simply purchasing yarn in the Special Order section. All Special Order yarns will always be clearly marked in their product pages, as I'd never want you to buy yarn without knowing there is a wait for it.

The day after the Special Order date I order the yarn from Brown Sheep, and they ship it out to me. This process normally takes about 4 weeks. In the event that it might take longer, I will let you know. Brown Sheep occasionally run out of a certain shade or advise me that it will take longer, so I will always check with you first so that you have the opportunity to choose another shade - with so many shades you are bound to find another that you love!

When your order arrives, I then mail it out to you, (Second Class, to save you money) and will inform of you of this via email so that you can be sure to look out for it.
